of a scorpion.
Family Panorpodidae -- Short-faced scorpionflies.
5 species in the genus Brachypanorpa in North America. Larvae are scarabaeiform and presumably feed on roots.
Family Bittacidae -- Hanging scorpionflies.
9 species, fairly common.
